Hello, thank you all for this forum. I have visited this site frequently and gained much useful information.
Thanks to Talk Bass I have recently become a Peavey hoarder according to my wife. I have acquired 3 Foundations, a Fury and a Nitro Bass head and Tour 115 cab. All for surprisingly little money.
Same familiar story, played guitar (Marathon(?) and bass ( no name Beatle bass) through a Montgomery Ward combo amp as a teen/young man, lost interest and needed cash, sold said instruments. Older now and slowing getting back in my ‘golden years’.
Also own a Peavey Reactor and Patriot guitar and a Bandit.
The rig in my avatar was a great deal, being patient I got the whole deal for $455 including hard case for the bass. I wish I had this gear as a younger man.
