Basement jam with a guitarist - rest of the band was sick/sucks. Whatever. So, instead of wasting the time, we decided to go through a bunch of stuff. The odd thing was that his pedalboard upset everything. It upset the guitar amp (Gibson BR-9) and my amp (Carvin MB12). My amp was plugged into the wall on the same circuit as the guitar amp, but that's the only connection. It was a very strange thing. When his pedal board was removed from duty, the problems with boxy sound, noisy amps, and everything else went away.

Go figure. I'm just carping. I don't expect anybody to know what was going on. Just making myself feel better, and I do. Thanks.
