The $150 1965 Precision Bass restoration thread

Well… here it is! Neck got here and I set it up with ti flats, put the pre cbs tuners on and put the logo on. Big thanks to Jeremy aka @Freekmagnet for fixing up what would’ve been firewood. Seriously. This neck had cracks bumps bruises defretted you name it, I cant think of a more skilled person to take care of and restore this neck.

When I had the squier neck on it, I put labellas on it and the bass had a bite to it that seemed hindered by them, so I went for ti’s. Better for the frets to stay with flats and a nice and lively tone!
