Obviously the TR-70 cause i paid less than 300$ for it new in the mid-90's and it's still what i use.

I think the BTB series (Korean or Japan) are incredible basses. I've played Alembics, Ricks, Jazz, P, etc etc. and they are the best bang for the buck on the used market period. I have the 6 string black quilt and I want to get a 5 for slap'n. You can find the used 5's for under $300.

Agree! These were the best Ibbys made. I had one, only thing is they were heavy as heck.

I gotta agree on the Iceman - so very metal and iconic.
And I'll throw in the GWB-1 - the Gary Willis fretless. Incredible ergonomics and feel and sound, with several player-designed innovations (ramp, pickup, and tuning peg heads).

From my current brood and those that left home:
MC924 lefty left home, great pickups but preamp a bit noisy
Blazer LH modified beyond recognition, worked great as my main recording bass for 10 years with dual EMG Ps
still here:
RS924 LH works on any music, bit heavy
RB600 LH punchier, works on any music
RB850 low imp pickups, great for any gig, very comfortable to play
SR500 LH amazing neck, best slap sound, nice burp for gigs, a bit to bright, super comfortable
MY FAVE: RB600 with EMGs
best stock Ibby: RB850 Low impedance

I've always enjoyed the early P/J configuration SRs myself. Simple, practical, well built. A classic with some minor but nice improvements.
That Affirma is fantastic looking. I'd snatch one up and do my best to make it sound good!
I absolutely hate the way the SR series basses look, but they're great basses, so one of them has to occupy a spot in the top 5. Here are the remaining four -
Late 70's/early 80's Musican -
Bunker-built USATK -

And even though it wasn't the best sounding bass, the 90's Affirma -
I had a Roadstar II RB950 (looks just like that body wise except wood grain and with two pickups) that i inherited earlier this year and i sold it for 220$ because i just didn't like the sound nor the feel of it overall.... guess it all depends on the player. I still much preferred the sound of my cheap TR-70.
I had an Ibanez Modulus Series. White pearl with EMG P/J set. Loved the graphite neck and it was built like a tank. I wish I still had it. Best Ibanez I've played.
