#569 (Agreed!) ShirazBop - Can't go wrong with Fender American Standard J & P basses.

Thank you, 1bassleft. But I believe that it will be beautiful as well. After all, it is your bass, and I want to see pictures of it when ready. That's nice, TC. I have a build going with Jazz body, MM + J pickups. It won't be as pretty as yours, though.
Sign me up for the 5-string club! I guess since I got another 5-stringer that I'm permanently a B-stringer.
Here's my new Mary Kaye Ray35 that I received on Friday from BassCentral!

Hi, here's my Vintage V905 not as nice as some of the basses posted on here but, it plays and sounds brilliant for my first 5 string.
TCaetano (Already #545) - Looks great!
Grateful (Already #90) - Wilkins! Must be sweet.
1bassleft - There are a lot of incredible basses here. (Check Part 1 of the 5-string Club thread as well, if you want to see more.)
#570 Cyborg - The finish on that Ray35 is amazing.
#571 cliff em all - Nice Jackson!
#572 Ricksflynn - Hey, don't sell your bass short. It looks mighty fine. Anyway, I've always considered the equation of great tone to be 70% the player, 15% the bass, 15% the amp.
I wish there were more 5 strings available with the P-J pickup combination.
+1 for the P/J combination in a 5'er!I love that combination, It was something i was looking for when I purchased it. I play near the bridge so it gives me the sound I want.
Got my second one at the front end of the week...
