What recession? Although it kinda makes sense considering I saw a 1963 Bass VI going for something like $28,000.

See, I could sort of wrap my head around the idea of the Bass IV PG costing so much, but $1000 for a 60's Jazz PG?

man that's nuts. I guess if you had a vintage bass VI, and really wanted to keep it original and needed a pickguard... but I'd rather buy a nice bass and get a repro...

22 grand for a seafoam green Bass VI. Now, if it was a 5 string with say a 35" scale...that might be neat, with a wide string spacing too. Hmmmm..
