Loving the roasted maple necks.
If it's cut like my P7, I have to disagree. The contours of my 5 string P7 make the bass feel thinner front to back and lighter weight than my 4 string American Special P-bass. I mean.. it's not like I notice the difference while I'm playing, but I'm a fan of the slim forarm and belly contours.
To each their own.. I'm probably not going to be jumping on any of these myself.. even if I do like that they're including roasted maple in that price bracket.
I think they look pretty great for the money but something about the body lines don’t sit well with me. I wish they’d traced an actual Fender P and copied it exactly instead. Not that it would’ve swayed me anyhoo.
To each their own. That’s a lot of cool bass for the money.
