The almighty Synsonics Terminator..bask in it.

For those of you who know, I need not say more.
If you don't:
Synsonics was a Mattell (Hot Wheels and Barbie guys, yes) brand of 3/4 size guitars.
nothing special right? Wrong. These guitars have a mandatory built in speaker, some with FM radios (Very ***?).
The majority were ridicoulously suckish and sold for 40 bucks new.
They typically have sharp frets, feedback out the wa-zoo, wierd wood board bodies, cheesy tone, one peice necks, and brutally fantastic durability.
Oh, did I mention a vribrato that can:
Hit 1: Knock you into drop D tuning.
Hit 2: Knock you into drop Z tuning.
Hit 3: Knock you into tuning known only to dolphins.

I bought one. It must be the best one made. No feedback, good pickups (Squier-ish), holding tuners (sorta), smooth frets, well applied finish, and..of course, it's impossible to destroy.
I mean, 20 years, it refuses to die. I've seen everything of similar vintage in worse shape.

When i was a little kid i used to go with my dad to the guitar store and that was my dream guitar (my first case of GAS!). I tried my hardest to get my dad to buy it too (It has its own amp!) (its smaller than normal size!) but he never caved...anyways, I found a different model a few years ago on the bay without the neck and so i slapped an SX neck and some tuners on it and i had a decent sounding guitar...it was a kinda thin sounding amp but had a nice jack white-ish guitar sound to it

granted i didn't find the same model, but this one was what i found and it appeared a tad better than the original--also, for some strange reason, this one had a floyd-rose authorized trem on it

i think it was 20 shipped for the body, 20 shipped for the neck from SX and ten for the tuners...50 bucks total

20 bucks more and you got, essentially, a new guitar.

Somewhere in the depths of all my suff, I have a Synsonics Drum machine....basicly about the size of a large hard cover novel with 4 small drum pads on it.

I need to find that again.....I once pluuged in to my bass pod xt and all sorts of fun was had with thr effects.

Does anyone by chance know what this Synsonics model is? I've had it for 6 years and my uncle 10 before that. He said he got it in the 80s but I can't find anything that looks like it except the Terminator.

i have one of those. needs new electrics. shoot, it doesn't have ANYTHING in it anymore. missing the crashbar, too. anyone know where i can get parts?
