Got this back in late 80's
G-series P Special.
Had to replace brass nut and added a set of Geezers along w/ Hipshot Detuner. With LaBella flats, this thing thumps!
It'll be desperate times before I ever consider getting rid of this.

My longest running bass is the 72 J I got in 1992. Every bass I had up to that point was sold off. Still have the 72, still love it, won't get rid of it. That bass informed the purchase of my 97 US Dlx Jazz V, which I also still have and won't ever sell.

My Mom had a pussy-pink Rambler station wagon(mid 60's) with a push-button tranny set-up on the dash, between the driver's door & the steering wheel ...
Fairly fast car, too ...

My very worn 1972 Precision. I've had it for 12 years and it's always my first choice. Definitely a keeper. I can play any style of music with it in pretty much any band. Great instrument.

I bought my '59 Precision in '75 and had no idea what I had at the time, except a very mistreated instrument im need of a lot of love. It has gone through a lot of transformations over the years, until her (hopefully final) restoration in 2012.

My Avon Les Paul (they were also sold as Greco, Aria and probably Ibanez back in the day). I just realized I've probably owned it more than half its life (and mine). I bought it in London back in 1995, and I assume it's made in the early 70's. Never parting with this one.

My '65 Gibson EBO, bought @ '84. Originally bought it for my girlfriend who wanted to learn bass, because it was so light and a short scale. She never got after it so I played it instead. Still have the EBO, still have the girlfriend, though she goes by wife now.

Man that is a so rare bass! I've seen like 20 units with various PU and finishes.
I've bought mine from the Prong bass player and he have a second one.
Peter Steele and Frank Cavanaugh had a bunch of them i think, I saw another artist with one.

I may be the only owner in France and i love this bass.

Where or how did you get one?
