It was me......... Man what a comedy/tragedy. This has to be required reading for all newer TB'ers, especially those dipping toes into the customs ocean. I think the most hilarious part is higher up on this page about the Victor Wooten tape never being returned. I cried laughing at that, granted I was already primed for it.
I'm just so curious about this story though now!?? I want people with answers to lay out the truth! What happened to the bass? What happened to Bourbonsee? What happened to Todd? What happened to Alienation? Hell, why is every other poster on this thread listed as banned now?!
So weird that so many negative experiences of varying intensity popped up about one particular builder, and not a cheap builder at that. Personally most of the basses look pretty bunk to me. Too bad, and especially too bad that so many were dissatisfied with their long awaited instrument. Thank God TalkBass is full of so many other luthiers who are talented, reasonable, and COMMUNICATIVE!
