My Victory Artist is the best bass I've touched, even compared to Alembics, Pedullas, Rics, etc. nothing will ever beat it!

An unmodified Victory Artist (fireburst - and in excellent condition) is the one other Gibson I vow I will someday get my grubby little mitts on - no matter what! If one still exists out there - I will find it! And it will be mine! Oh yes, it will be mine.

I am still kicking my self I didn't grab one new back in the 80s (like I did my Ripper in the 70s) when I had my chance.

this is from the day I bought it, it has a spot between the pickups above the E string were I wore through the finish with my thumb from playing it, the pickups actually have grooves and marks in the from the strings vibrating and hitting them. The action on this bass is the best I've ever seen.

I played this exclusively for 5 years before I started making my own guitars and have since retired it. Seriously sets the standard for all the guitars I build
