this is from the day I bought it, it has a spot between the pickups above the E string were I wore through the finish with my thumb from playing it, the pickups actually have grooves and marks in the from the strings vibrating and hitting them. The action on this bass is the best I've ever seen.
I played this exclusively for 5 years before I started making my own guitars and have since retired it. Seriously sets the standard for all the guitars I build
I have a Flying V (see avatar). I am not sure that it is my favorite Gibson but it exists and has two T-Bird plus pups in it.
