The best luthiers in Austin Texas?

But, alas, I do need one in my own backyard. Any suggestions? I want a miracle worker! My old luthier has reconnected splintered headstocks, broken necks, refretted, heat pressed, and more! I miss him :(

Ed Reynolds!!

Heard he retired recently; may be hard to contact! Actually, he was hard to contact when he wasn't retired! LOL!

Was the luthier guitarist Eric Johnson used in Austin, TX

Ed is an absolute PERFECTIONIST! and does flawless work!

He has refretted my guitars, and got some custom bartolini p/ups for me by calling "Pat" (Bartolini) right there on the phone while assessing my guitar!

Greg Yancey: I own a 6 string he made and have played 5 basses he has made. He does incredible work. Awesome attention to detail, great guy, stands behind his products... I know he makes basses, but I am unaware as to whether or not he does repairs.

John Alison: I have seen acoustic guitars he's made and repair work he himself has done. The guitars are great players. The repair work I've seen has been exceptional.
