Has anyone here had the chance to try those scopes you attach to you bass with suction cups, the Dragonfly???

if so, what say you???? do ou get a GOOD bass sound?

Anybody know how to get rid of the "tinny" sound?
The sustain is however quite remarkable.

I like passive basses so I guess I'll have to buy something with batteries to practice with while traveling...or maybe practice in the bathroom, naked.........sitting in the tub, no water of course.

I think there is a market for a direct brain or ear implant that you could hook up to............it could work I think.

As someone whose first amplifier was his wooden bedside locker, I thought these looked like a good idea.

I'd be a bit concerned that if you banged the body of the bass off anything you might go deaf though!

I play with my chin resting on the upper horn late at night. Vibrations through my chin, to my ears.

This one's a bit more expensive, but same deal. Hurts the jaw less too

What difference does it make if your bass is passive or active? As far as the Dragonfly goes I mean. Your bass isn't even plugged in when you use the Dragonfly, correct?

....yes, you are correct. If I had an active bass, all I would need is a headphone set.

I think all you would need with an active bass is a Mono to Stereo adapter plug and an efficient set of headphones...
