I have a question about these lovely Birds. I'm assuming by all the photos that my Epi. T-Bird will not be hollow underneath the pickguard? Mine is still on layby, so I can't find out for myself :-S I was considering building a "solo" unit into the pickguard, but if it's not hollow, that makes it difficult!
This one is waiting for me to wire it up. I had back surgery a few weeks ago, so I haven't been in my shop much since. This 'bird is a really nice quilted maple on a mahogany core, with a mahogany and walnut neck-thru. Zirocote fingerboard, and she's fretless!!!
