Haha, that is the most annoying aspect of the group.. Trolls hiding behind anonymous posts.
It is a hot mess and turning off legit peeps. And the usual knuckleheads who live for it are loving it.

I didn't even know that was a thing. Not surprised to hear at all that it's a mess though. Much like most things on facebook.
If it's the one that I think of, it's not affiliated. I even think it's like "Talkbass Fans" or something like that.
One would think that TB got an OnlyFans page.
Which Fender group? There are only a few decent FB bass groups, most of them are garbage.
TalkBass is not affiliated with any facebook groups. They are fan created/run.
Except following bands, finding people to play with, promoting gigs, buying and selling gear locally, keeping up with old friends, messaging friends, joining interest groups, playing games, watching videos...
I haven't found any bass groups on FB that I could stand.
TB was the first "group" of bass players that I came across. That led me to believe that ALL of bass players were civilized. When I joined FB I found out the hard way that I had been mistaken.
