thanks i appreciate it. its a czech made bass i actually found in a pawnshop. i usually sneak all my other gas purchases in the house and the spouse is none the wiser. didnt work too well with this one. i have been playing electrics about 35 years before finding this (i had always wanted one) and figured with what (i think) i know playing an upright would be a piece of cake....um....wrong! but i must admit, the challenge is invigorating! :bassist:

soundwise not really - but it got those grooves if you know what i mean ?! (sorry for my english)

but all in all im very pleased with the sound and playabillity of this instrument.

best 300€ i ever spend on a music instrument !


(i think it was a gotho bridge)

'77 black/black Gibson Ripper bought new from Kalamazoo. Replaced stolen fretless EB3.
Only inst I've ever bought new - peeled the protective paper off the pickguard -- ooooooohhh!

Been thinkin' 'bout getting a white pickguard for it!!
Love her! Name is Bess - never lettin' her go! Too many adventures together!!

GAS: Waiting patiently for Fender to produce an active fretless Jazz V 2 octave. RWA!

My '74 Precision "fretless." Mods by the great Carlo Greco. The frets were filed down, Bartolini's installed and an active circuit put in. I bought the bass used, at a great price. It has a monster sound and I love it in the studio. The loudest bass I've ever owned, the Bartolinis are amazing.
