OK, so there have been quite a few threads recently about bad things happening to good people. Rather than dwell on the negative, let's see if we can't turn things around by posting something good that's happened to you!

I'll start: A friend of mine collects classic arcade games and we play a couple of times a week. Tonight, I scored 9.7 million playing Elvira and the Party Monsters pinball -- My personal highest-score ever!

I'm going to France on the weekend in a couple of weeks and am looking at buying an investment property or two (not in France - they are separate) - although I don't know whether getting a mortgage is good news or bad news, but I feel I need to invest some money in property as the one regret I have is not buying property when I was younger - so I guess putting that into action is good news!

Um...I'm learning some new stuff on my bass and being able to hear the basslines in music MUCH better (not really news, but close enough).
