Alright, the club's getting bigger!
Time for a little maintenance:

JMX = #2
bass_bernd = #3
daddycal = #4
tdmorley = #5
lamonica78 = #6
sandmann = #7
salwendert = #8 (I know you're the U.S. distributor - do you actually own a HB??)
carlos840 = #9 (btw: veeeery nice bass!)
slapmeister = #10

I just noticed the pic I posted no longer exists. I must have removed it by mistake. Here are some newer pics:

Yes sir I do. X.oc5(natural) and JBX4(oldie but goodie, Fireburst), plus I get to play the demo gear when it gets back to us. Have not had a lot of time lately though.

Sign me up, I guess I will be #11, got mine from ThePerfectBass last week, once I get the pic's of it uploaded to my webshots profile I will post pic's. Awesome bass and for the money I do not know why more people are not selling there Musicman's to get these they are far better IMO.

I know, this is an old one, but here I am: I have an early Max 5-String frettless (German made). All Maple, flame top, birdseye neck with ebony fretboard. Bridge is one piece massive. PU's seem not to be the original setup: There is an J style Bartolini an the bridge and a MM style in the middle, with a self made switch.

In reply to your question nrssab, the Max sound exactly like the Jonas (the only difference is body shape).

It sounds absolut great. Singing and not too hifi. But the greatest feature is its playability. After playing this instrument, everything else seems to neet a lot more effort and pain. It is soo good.

I'm on stage with Siggis Humanbase Basses since 1988! My 5-string Max headless (superlongscale) is No. 4 in the history of this company and it was build by Hasko Ahrend (the co founder of Humanbase). Other basses are a Max 6-string (No.36), a Jonas 5 fretless (No.95) and a Roxy B5.

Hi all,
I was reading this fantastic blog for a while and decided to subscribed today with the strong intention to make my 1st post on this thread.

Lucky me I'm living 35 minutes away from Siggi's lair and I will be receiving my new baby from the hands of the master himself.
Pictures will be made to celebrate this birth and they will be posted.

If any of you are looking for an OC4, I have the perfect one. She recently had the frets professionally leveled and polished. Plays smooth as butter. Action is quite low. This one also has the coil tap option (most I have seen don't have it). The Delano and Glockenklang setup sounds amazing. I have an ad in the classisfieds and will consider reasonable offers.
