The Ibanez Spector copy?

I like it.

I think it is color-coded right seeing as how it has a pair of lines for each of the three mid frequencies you can pan to.

It looks wrong to me. The mid frequencies are right, but look at where the bass (blue) cut/boost is and where the treble (red) cut/boost is. The blues aren't the same in the key and the graph, and I don't see the purple. :)

It's still an Ibanez.

Absolutely horrendous inlays.#@!*^%. Sorry. I just threw up in my mouth. And,to top it off? I think it's in the neighborhood of 10k!!!

Actually I was thinking of this one:

It was neither of those. It had the almost exact body shape and curve of the Spector, but the then standard Ibanez headstock. They were not around long.

Played the 4 string SRT800 on my setup (Ashdown 180 into accoustic B115).

Sounded terrible. There was no natural fundamental or low/low mid representation. You can boost the lows of course with the pre-amp, but it doesn't sound true.

The knobs are stupid. They are pretty loose, the detent is barely noticeable, and they just don't feel solid.

I played the transparent gray. The finish isn't transparent enough, so 90% of the time the bass just looks mostly like a slate black/grey color. You have to get it in direct sunlight to really see much of the cool stuff underneath. It would look really cool if the gray coating wasn't so dark.

The neck is interesting. I'm indifferent about the changes but its slightly wider than most soundgear necks and its thicker with a more definite "U" or "D" shape to it.

nitpicking here but It would have been cool if the back were a satin finish since that's the best for necks.
