The Infamous Band Name Thread

How about:
Rod Torfulson's Armada featuring Herman Menderchuk

... good old KITH

OK, here are some:
Orange Gorilla
Hunter Killer (Terminator reference)
All Out Party
Cheesy Taco
Best Time Wasted
Frozen Dinner
Vegetarian Cannibal
J.R. Token and the 6ft Bong
Cost of Peace
Bison
Thunderf***
Homekit Visectomy
Raging Reed and the Performance Enhancers

...Thats all for now. Got a name we are working with but I don't really like it too much. Howling Bowels. It's starting to grow on me, but it took like two weeks for me to start considering it. We play Metal/punk type stuff.

I had to struggle so hard not to laugh this morning that I worried I'd have an aneurysm. While waiting my turn to get out of the parking lot at my daughters school, I overheard two of her fellow students speaking VERY earnestly about what to call their band. They were using the kind of heavy thought on this that one usually reserves for things like "Should I testify in court against this mafia hit man?"

The reason I had to post it here is that the name they were trying to figure which form to use was the same name that one of my previous bands had had when I wasn't much older than they are.

I was in a band while in college that we joked should have been called "Every Other Week" because that's about how often we decided to pick a new name. One of the names we choice for a while? The Imaginary Movement.

Yeah I know. What can I say? We all made lame choices in the '80's.

The two kids this morning? Their converstion went something like this: "So should we be 'THE Imaginary Movement, AN Imaginary Movement, Or just plain Imaginary Movement? Which one is most badass?"

So apparently once again I have predicted the future.

Remember it was your idea. Here is THE LIST:

And before anybody says the same stuff they always do when I re-post this, the names on this list were ones I came up with in 1988. So I don't care that you know some comparatively major artist or album named something on the list. I came up with it first. Okay?

No. Not OK... unless of course you have some proof. And "my mum says..." does NOT count as proof.
