Heavily Modded SX SJB-62 5 String Fretless Jazz Bass - Bartolini Pickups(Not yet installed), Hipshot A-Type Bridge, Mirror Pickguard(Not yet installed), Chrome Knobs, Bone Nut, Schaller Straplocks, String-Thru The Body, and TI Jazz Flats.

Heavily Modded SX SJB-62 Jazz Bass - DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Pickups, Badass II Bridge, Black Pickguard, Black Knobs, Hipshot 3 String Retainer, Schaller Straplocks, and DR Hi-Beams.

My fairly heavily modded fretless MIM...

Basslines humbucker in the neck (HUGE), rewired vol/blend/tone, and a pearloid pickguard. The camera didn't catch the wonderful color of it though.

Here is an action shot of my Geddy.

Jeff, I'm used to seeing pics of you with your Lakland or other larger basses, and in comparison, the Geddy looks almost like a toy when you're playing it: it looks tiny on you!

I'd bet it's mighty comfortable to play -- the one I played at the local GC was apparently set up by a chimpanzee, so I can't really say I've played a true Geddy.

Seriously, if Fender cranks out a 5-string Geddy, I'm going to have to stop coming here and looking at all these pics. The Geddy is one gorgeous looking bass, IMO, and a 5er might be too much to resist.

Is there a significant difference between a Classic 60´s jazz and a standard American jazz? (other than the price and the tuners and the bridge and the truss rod and thes-1 switch)
