How much per hour is a usual music lesson? $35.00, $50.00 or more? Depending upon the instructor of course. How much one values the info is going to determine if it's worth the price.

About $80/hour these days.

I won't lie, I keep checking to see if the price goes down. I'd probably pay $100-ish for it. Hell, I used to spend 40/50 bucks in nineties money for hour long VHS bass instructional tapes.

I'm about half way through it. It's a fun watch. Could've it been a freebie on Youtube? Maybe.....but it's not. I figure I've enjoyed enough of the free content they've put out over the years that it won't kill me to throw a little money at this one. It's not as heavy on the Stratton schtick as you might expect, and you can tell these guys REALLY love bass guitar.

I came from a generation that used spend $50 on VHS instructional tapes that were like an hour long, and I really gained more in inspiration from them than I did actual nuts and bolts technical stuff. This is a lot like that.

Anyway, I wouldn't have paid $250, but I'm glad I bought it.

Just came across this course and this thread. Like others, I’m intrigued but not sure if it will deliver on $250 of value. Has anyone else given it a shot?

I pulled the trigger when it was half off. I've enjoyed it. I don't think it delivers 250 worth of content for my needs, but everyone is different right?

I'd just research his gear (if that is part of your quest) and then more importantly, learn every note of his song. all of this for the grand total of $0. this will go farther than his course guaranteed.
