Ok. I ordered a Mesa boogie 2x12 powerhouse that arrived at me house today. I was planning on using my old head with it but it got stolen last week. As a replacement, I bought a Hartke Lh500, which also came in today. Only thing I could afford because I just spent 900 bucks on the cab. Anyway. I plug it all in and it seems very quiet. The cab is 600 watts at 8 ohms. The head is 500 watts at 4 ohms, which should be about 350 watts at 4 ohms. This should be plenty loud right? Any body have any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks for your help yall.

Not sure if you know, but the EQ "flat" on the LH heads is 2-10-2. Try that and see how it sounds. With the mids at 10 you should get a lot more volume than say if you we're running everything at 5-5-5.
