The Mike Lull Club Part 2

'm pretty sure that NBD counts as the day you receive the bass but I didn't want to wait. I just ordered a Lull custom P/J 4 from Bass Northwest. It's an older Lull before he started using serial numbers according to the staff there.

Pickups are Duncan Basslines P with a Fralin J and Bartolini 18 Volt preamp. As you can tell the body is Maple/Ash. I'll give a report when it arrives :hyper: . Bass Northwest was super friendly and helpful, awesome bunch of people over there.

Does anybody know where I could purchase the black 60s-Jazz-Bass-type knobs which Mike uses on the M5V series ? Especially the stacked knobs ? I've sent an email to Mike's service but haven't got any response yet.

You can get them from Mike Lull' shop in Bellevue, Wa. They hang on the wall....

It's better to call instead of emailing him, call him at 425-643-8074.

He is a really cool guy and very helpful. I was just at his shop yesterday talking to him.

It sounds terrific! I just picked up my blue PT at Mike's shop today and it's exactly what I wanted. All the T4 tone but in a P bass package.

Brad, very nice collection! Can you describe the shape and depth of the neck on your P4's? I have a PJ5, and love the neck, much prefer it to the Fender P5 I had, but I imagine the 4 string necks are a bit different.
