since y'all seem to like my 'Ray i guess i could post a few more pics. you can tell where the paint has some dirt in it and where the mirror p/g has been scratched. it doesn't look to pretty under close inspection with bright lighting, but to the average onlooker it's "beautiful" :p
then again, i don't baby my basses. they get treated pretty rough. as of now it's taken about 4 years of abuse with the current paintjob and the p/g has about 3 years on it.

i used a different white on the hardware, and it's already starting to age. i've grown to like the difference in color tone though.

IMO, thats half the charm, the scratches and swirls, charachter! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

EDIT: That also includes fingerprints and smudges, makes it all badass, to me.

I love that, makes everything stand out *just* enough!

What's the clip/bracket below the bridge??

x2 i can't figure it out. at first i thought maybe it's a custom job to hold the instrument cable, but then i saw that the angle's too sharp at the bridge for a cable to go through.

How'd you do the odts on the OLP? Is the neck painted too?

:D and yea, the neck's painted too. i taped off the frets to keep them stainless and prevent paint from ruining my strings.

From Gibson mine had all black hardware and a sig PG. I had the new one chrome plated along with the "opti -grab" (lol!) when I changed out the stock pups for some Lulls along with the rest of the hareware.
Stock PG.....meh.

Here's mine, cept it's my piece of crap 100$ used Squier. Everything is stock. I believe they still sell it to. She plays and sounds surprisingly like a beauty, and yet she is still a Squier. Ah well. Here she is when I got her, she was less crappy then:

I had one of those for my very first bass... I never took to it and got rid of it the first chance I got, but if I knew then what I know now, I would have tinkered with it a bit more. Had it with the mirror pickguard and everything. Dude who sold it said he "added" the J pickup and charged me extra. I was young and stupid then.
