I'll be getting a mirror pickguard in the mail soon for my black/rosewood Fender P. If you have any basses with a mirror pickguard, go ahead and post a picture! Thanks folks.

Here's mine, cept it's my piece of crap 100$ used Squier. Everything is stock. I believe they still sell it to. She plays and sounds surprisingly like a beauty, and yet she is still a Squier. Ah well. Here she is when I got her, she was less crappy then:

I got a mirror pickguard for my Squier VMJ. It looked great but scratched easily, so im replacing it with a black abalone one.

it's an OLP copy. it used to be the all-black model. up close the paint doesn't look so good, but no one can see the imperfections. i need to buff and polish it, since white gets very dirty very fast unless it's mirror smooth. the pickguard is a EBMM Stingray guard. it's pressure fitted (just barely clears the pickup) and the holes didn't line up. i just stripped the hardware off and scuffed the clear coat off and sprayed. also scuffed the hardware- no flaking yet (knock on wood).
if i ever decide to re-do it, i'll probably have my friend sandblast everything and do a better job of filling the low spots and buffing.

I really want to get a mirror pickguard... but I've no idea where ships internationally.

I want to put one on my sunburst jazz and one on my purple sparkle jazz... although I don't know if it'll detract from the classy-ness of the sunburst or be too overwhelming on the purple sparkle.

Okay, I'll play. I have a Cort Curbow Retro that I got from Greg when they were first introduced and did some upgrades.

New mirror pickguard and truss rod cover, new lipstick Armstrong pickups, new bridge and UFO knobs...Here's the pimpin' end result:

Nice concept - though, morbidly, it reminds me of the bikes I see everywhere in NYC of a fallen cyclist . . .

I saw a Harris bass for the 1st time at a local shop w/ the mirror pg and I gotta say I'm not digging the mirror as much as I thought I would - though I bet it's cool on stage . . .
