The most and less durable stage basses

Yeah, J basses are pretty indestructible. Even if one breaks nobody cares because there's 40 zillion others out there.
I'm afraid I don't understand your question. I've never had a neck fall off, or a bridge become disattached. Do you mean the ability to withstand heat or cold, or a spilled beer? I suppose a balsa wood bass is less durable than an ash bass. Is that what you mean?
I had a Carvin LB70 that was nothing but trouble on the road. Mechanically it was fine, but I was forever having trouble with the electronics. It was the buggiest bass I ever owned.

word has it that ricks and thunderbirds have a penchant for breaking under certain conditions that say...a fender would not.
Umm...yep I mean almost this. So in my question durability means operation without failure. In electronics,and mechanics too. But I also mean that if your really pushing it hard,does it stay in tune,or you always have to adjust it...so this is the durability side.
And everything opposit means less durable. If you have a lot of problem with it,with electronics,mechanics..etc. then tell me,I'm interested. 
IME, the most durable basses tha I've owned have been my Tobias basses and my Lakland. They've been in my trunk, left in the car in the winter, summer, and knocked off the stands more than once. Every single one of them still plays fine to this day.
My least durable would be my Warwick Corvette Standard. All I had to do is change the strings and barely touch that little clip that holds the bridge in place (terrible design), and it broke on me. It still holds the bridge still but I can't take all the strings off all at once without it wanting to move. Anyone know where I can get that fixed at or how to do it myself?

Take a look at my Stingray 5 in the classifieds, that thing has been gigged hard and steady for over a year, it looks like it just came out of the factory.
I've seen a few of the EB basses suffer the same fate.
Realistically, basses will work well if you PLAY them. If you're worried about durability, I'd suspect you wear helmet and drool on yourself.

my peavy Fury 4, no points, never had a problem with the guts, my mockingbird and beast bass back in the day where magnets for any kind of damage.
I saw Klaus Flouride of the Dead Kennedys throw his Jazz a good 6 feet up in the air at least 3 times, & always played the same one at the next show. In my book that's fairly durable.

I think durability is a valid concern for just about anything, especially wooden musical instruments that get beat on while playing and suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous transit.
