All this talk about James Jamerson and Paul McCartney being the greatest is apparently just talk. I never knew that Les Paul was the "most famous bass player in the world" and that he popularized the violin bass with the Fab 4. You learn something new every day.

I was under the impression that Jeff Berlin popularized the violin bass.

I want to believe this guy just copied and pasted a line from his generic import Les Paul auction. It could also be a slip of the keyboard. It's funnier to diss without discretion. What an idiot.
