The new Vox Amphone, bass edition

Just checked them out at the shop.
They are nice. They sound as good as any headphone solution I've ever heard.
If I liked playing with headphones on at all I would definitely get some of these.
But headphones just bug me in general so I collect little tiny practice amps instead...
Hey you should do a some posts on your mini amp collection.

I love the bass new amplug v2
as they can go with most of your favourite IEM's.. I use the elbasico elcheapo SE215 but they sound great to me for playing bass

It has three amp models but the clean green one is all I need and the added drums is a fun add on

The I found the "headphones" in the amphone kind of muddy sounding but it could just be my ears and I think I'll break the amphone if it stays in my gig bag but the iem pouch and amp plug take no space and fit in a tiny pocket. Not shamming the amphone but new updated amplug + SE215 blew the amphone out of the water for me in terms of everything (clarity, portability) and I like the fact that I can try different headphones or iems as I wish too

I have an older Vox amPlug Bass "v1" with the non folding plug, but for anyone who hasn't gotten one of the new ones yet, by all means do, or at least put it on your birthday/Christmas/Chanukah/Festivus wish list. If it sounds as good as the older model it will sound great, and it sounds better now - and it has lots of new features. I use mine with either a headphone or with my IEMs, and I often run an aux in from my computer so I have something to play against. With this, I can practice while my wife is asleep in the next room, which is great.

The v2 has less noise for me
