Ironically enough, the word "soccer" is of English, and not American, origin. You wacky limeys.

Fútbol-related tangent: I've never been able to figure out how a game that's dominated by the poor and brown in the rest of the world is the sole province of upper-middle-class white kids in the United States.

I think the CN Tower gets disqualified because only a small portion of it is occupied and a large portion of its height above the occupied portion is a radio antenna which is not structurally integrated into the building.

There was a controversy over the Petronas Towers being the world's tallest buildings because the last hundred feet or so of them was an uninhabitable, unoccupied superstructure with only decorative purposes. The Sears Tower, on the other hand, is occupied right up to the very top of its structure. It's a moot point now, though, with the ~1700-foot building that went up in Taipei recently.

The tallest structure in the world is a radio tower in Belarus, IIRC. It's well over 650 meters tall, but since it's tethered to the ground by steel cables it's not considered to be a freestanding structure.

Hey kid, grow up, aight? I realize that you're at that stage in your hormonal development where you get a boner from saying things that you don't mean for the purpose of pissing people off, but most of us really don't appreciate it.

he didn't just hint at it, he said the he hopes it'll happen again and "screw america". Any american definitely has the right to take great offense to that. Heck any person. This guy just said that he wants 2500 more people to die senselessly. That's just not cool

How bout this, I do hope more people die...I really do, Screw this country, You know where I plan to go? I dont know....Maybe Ill go around the world till I find a nice lil quiet spot where there are no false ideals like democracy and freedom...I hope they blow up the new buildings, and I hope more die..I truly do, screw anoyone that disagrees wtih me, im sorry. Did i offend you? Oh freakin well....this thread offended my belief. Heres hope that more people die.
