Gah, I can't believe I missed this on the first pass...

I am also Canadian. I play a Godin bass, I'm a bit of a hockey fan even though there's the lockout right now. (I couldn't care less). Love the Canadian beer despite the Coors-Molson merger. And whoever said you have to go to the sticks where people aren't scared of bears and all own skidoos to really see Canada. So true! I grew up in a town just like that (the bank smells like cigarettes) and John Deere tractors hauling hay down my street was a common occurence. In fact there were two farm equipment dealerships within five minutes of my house. I heard this on just for laughs and thought I'd share it with everyone. To understand the whole Toronto/Montreal rivalry thing you have to think of the two cities as brothers. One is an accountant while the other is a womanizing alcoholic.

French Canadians don't annoy me at all. In fact I like em!
Nice to see a thread for Canadians. Don't get me wrong....I have nothing against people of other nationalities but it's nice to meet other TB ers from your own patch. Only thing I absolutely hate about living in Canada is getting killed but UPS customs clearance charges or customs charges when I buy a bass from the States.....but damned the prices are pretty good there on some stuff.
