So at its most extreme point, I owned six different basses. Now I'm down to these two Ps:

The pole pieces of the pickup stick out above the plastic...and I also called Fender customer service with the serial number to confirm it had the updated pickups.
Thanks, mate!Yes, the only change was the pickup update.

I'm a recent Pbass convert after buying a Roadworn. I sold my modern jazz type fiver and I'll be receiving a 2007 P5 in a trade deal. I'm aware that the 2008 to recent are the ones that are highly regarded. Can anyone tell me what the differences are between a "07 P5 and the newer ones ? Mine appears to have the higher mass bridge.

Hi guys,
Here is my new 2012 American Standard Precision in Charcoal Frost Metallic.
With this bass a dream came true for me as I always loved CFM and always wanted to have a MIA Precision one day. So here it is, with a beautiful mint pickguard. The white stock PG was a bit too clean and modern. The mint perfectly fits to CFM and gives a nice vintage touch to the bass.
BTW, I have a number already...

Got lucky and found the '70 P Bass in Toronto...and the Jazz is a 1971 but it was soooo mint i couldnt pass it up.
