Bought a Studio 5 in black satin almost a couple of months ago. Still setup in the ol' USA though and sounds great. So does my Schecter limited edition Gryphon guitar as well.

I have a Diamond Series C4XXX ...such a rock beast

i know it's a GC bought offshore bass, but i love it. and I'll be damned if those old ones aren't the prettiest things I've ever seen

Stiletto Custom 4 in natural. I'm such a conformist. But for $400 in a shop in Johnstown, PA while I was there for a week, I HAD to.

Nice deal, but the question would be do you like that bass better than their others in the picture. I love the sound of my studio-5 but I didn't play it before buying it. It was the best neck through 5 string with decent electronics for the price. I have only played a USA Fender jazz bass 4 string to compare to and I love the Schecter hands down.

Frankly, I'd like to see an "Official Old Schecter Bass Club" that's separate from the "I Just Bought A Schecter From Guitar Center Club". 'cuz those 1980's era California Custom basses are such totally different beasts from the current offshore instruments.

They are the Seymour Duncan Designed ones, I'm liking them better than the other models with EMG's- they seem really warm to me, which is nice.

I want a number, beeing a proud owner of Schecter Diamond Series custom 4 (they din't name it stiletto yet, it's from 2001)... just love it. I mainly love it because is NOT made in the states, muahahahah

A buddy of mine had 1 black 1 like that & sold w/o asking me if I wanted it!!! ARRRRGH!!! You can harly find thes "Fender Killers" anymore!! Those & the old ESP's!!! I know a lot of folk like the new ones, but they dont compare to the old stuff IMO...

Here's mine. Out of my nine basses these are probably my all around favorites. You really can't beat Schecter. I just bought a C-1 Hellraiser guitar as well. Just amazing instruments for the money.
