Hello fellow Schecter Owners and TalkBass members!

I am a new Schecter owner. I just bought my Antique Amber C-4 last night even though it was 20 below zero in Chicago land! I am also a new member to TalkBass as well as a new bassist!

I have always dreamed about playing bass, even when I was playing rhythm guitar in a garage band when I was a college kid. Well, I finally decided to jump in with both feet. I'm back in the world of playing music and loving it.

Natural satin. Fell in love with it at GC a little while back, and found a used one at a great price (300+ half shipping for bass and HSC). I cannot wait!

The bass was originally for my brother (he was 12) and he never touched it at all, since he wasn't using it, my mother decided to sell or trade it at guitar center, and they were offered 250 bucks the bass wasn't even a month old, now my bro plays the guitar and he is getting really good at it.

This was made just before a period where numerous companies were sued by Fender in order to stop the blatant design knock-off's. That's why you don't see Sadowski's or Laklands with exact Fender type headstocks. Ibanez was another company that was using exact Fender specs and were sued. Many of these guitars and basses are highly collectable.
