I dunno if I would take that as a compliment or not.

Why would inexpensive NOT be a compliment? Just because somethings expensive doesn't necessarily mean it's good!

Out of all the basses I own, my favorite was $130. My least favorite was $600.

This is just my most 'fun' bass... gotta love archtops with F holes. It sounds warm & woody and is a breeze to play. Pretty light weight, although somewhat neck heavy. I'd like to find a drop-in Fishman EQ/Pre-Amp for better control, though?

That bass is hawt, what are the details on it? Is it in current production?

+1 My favourite bass was £89 from an Argos catalogue. I've sold on much more expensive since I couldn't get on with them as well. Though I am about to do it again, looking to get a n MIA Jazz in the new year some time to celebrate my giving up smoking.

Squier MB-4 Skull and Crossbones Special Edition 4 String Bass.

Reversed P/J pickups, stock everything, still looks and sounds vicious. Tuned in Standard most of the time but I occasionally use Drop D.

Best of all, it only cost me $89 at Guitar Center...

Got 2 of these 15" kustom cabinets this week for practice at home and this is my new mod fretless jazz ...

I didn't feel like lifting the other cab into the room for the photo.....sounds good through the fender 400 watt EQ head..now waiting to get that peavey 18" sub when a coupon code pops up on the internet...
