Here's my baby, '08 Ric 4003 with Hipshot replacement bridge.

Ignore the guitar content in the background (lighting is better near my guitar stuff than my bass stuff).

I have an Ibanez SR506 and a Marcus Miller Jazz bass also, but no pics of those.

My latest family picture - it's been a long time since I've done this.....

Let's see, that's Yamaha TRBJP, a Rob Allen, an STR 6 string, Fender FMT V, LEJ 6/24, a Yamaha Silent Bass, LEJ 6 classic, and a Hwy 1 jazz in the front....

Life's good :bassist:

Nice collection! Isn't that a Geddy in the back?

Oh yeah! that is a geddy! Sadowsky pickups and Audere preamp in that one...

The Yamaha Silent Bass is the electric upright in the back. I really like it, although few people really dug them....

I bet the Geddy sounds great with that configuration. As for the Silent Bass I thought they were cool but the overriding factor for me was the body dimension. It is more practical for me, with my small car, to get something like a Dean Pace :)

Love that Blueburst Jazz, and the Silent Bass.

One solid piece, no laminated pieces? That is certainly worth nothing, and I'm sure for that reason alone it's worth a hefty chunk of money. You're quite lucky!

*Yeah, especially given the shape it is in. Almost un-played condition. Was surprised to see that it was all one piece. Didn't realize that until it showed up. Stole it off eBay a few years back.

I just sold my upright. I'm not playing it enough, or well enough, to justify keeping it. I am rededicating myself to being a really good electric player, rather than half-baked at two things....

The EUB is a very good compromise for when I really need that instrument. It's also easier to haul around on the trains in Tokyo :)
