I wonder if I can get a Twiggy as a guitar (a la Steinberger but with the headstock).

Looks awesome by the way.

Hi all,
I'm a new member and this seemed a good thread to say hello

apologies in advance for posting links instead of photos i'm not very pc literate

I'm currently playing
a Lucida Guitarron
Invalid Link Removed

when it arrived the C string wouldn't stay in the nut so i took a nail file to it and now it plays great
if anyone has a link to Guitarron sets for ADGCEA tuning (low to high) i'll be grateful for ever!

and a Hypercustom Springtime which is more of a Baritone than a bass i guess but played through a bassman it does a convincing Entwistle

mines the red one next to the Blue one in the double pic near the bottom
http://www.hypercustom.com/springtime.html

2 thickest strings are .075 &.056
its currently strung with D'addario VI strings but they're too quiet i'm going to go back to revert to a mixture of Bass & Guitar strings

regards
tim

Those Hypercustom Springtime instruments are way cool.

Here's mine. I haven't been on here in a minute and I just came across this thread. Not the best pics. I just got it used a few weeks ago and love it! :hyper:

I saw this thread and thought I'd add mine to the fray. I bought this about 10 years ago from the Bass Exchange in Southern Cal. Until recently, I haven't played it much, but I thought I start playing again.

I bought this from TBer jimc just this week. So far the only things I've changed are adding new strings, doing a complete setup to lower the action a *lot*, and adding the gold & green abalone knobs to replace the boring black rubber knobs that come stock on these. With the action set so low, this thing plays like a dream.
