I've been playing bass for about 9 years now, and I'm really having a great time with the gear I have these days so I thought I'd share it with you.

This is my main stage bass, A warwick $$ corvette four string. it's seriously killer, delivers the tone I need on stage and in the studio, is pretty lightweight and plays wonderfully. the best bass i've ever played

This is my 2nd stage bass a Music Man Sterling 4h. It's a bit more bottom ended than the warwick and I find the overall sound more bright and growly. It has amazing highs and delivers a very nice low end. but Ifind it a little less punchy at times than the warwick.

This is the rig I play through. A mark bass LM 1 (I think, all its says on the head is little mark 450. but from what i could find out this is one of the LM1 heads or a LM1c

) either way it's a great head. I bought it in 2005, at the time I shopped around and tried Eden wt800, Ampeg svt pro 2, ashdown evo ii and a few others, and this head had the tone i wanted straight plug and play, what can I say it's awesome.
I play in a band with a loud hard hitting drummer, two guitarists who play ENGL tube amps and quads and a screaming vocalist, I barely have to turn the gain and master past about the second dot.. which is barely even on. I play the low end and mid low at about 3- 4 oçlock and the mid high about 3oçlock and the high about 4 oçlock, so they're fairly high but I've never had to push the amp hard in any way.
One of the guitarists I play with has always complained that I'm too loud. If he can hear bass it's too loud apparently, but he does like the sound i get with the warwick.. not so much the musicman, so I chose to play that a bit at rehearsal just to mess with him
feel free to ask anything or make comment. I'd love to hear what you think.
