This is a close-up of that horrible looking screw hole the previous owner put into the NECK to fix the neck dive. I'm gonna fill it and sand it down when I buy a maple dowel.

That headstock is like the old Epiphone Newport headstocks. They called them "batwings" ...
Yeah you'll find the batwing headstocks on the Epiphone Embassy and (most) Gibson/Epiphone Newport basses. The Wilshire guitars have a batwing that looks even more like yours cause it's thinner at the tip.I didnt know that.
I like it as its so slim for a headstock.
