Truss rod adjustment at the heel instead of headstock = MIA. (unless it's a roadworn model, but I think all the Jazzes have rosewood FBs.)

This is a close-up of that horrible looking screw hole the previous owner put into the NECK to fix the neck dive. I'm gonna fill it and sand it down when I buy a maple dowel.

OMG i saw that bass on ebay. I cant believe u bought it!!! I envy u rite now lol
When I first got it and put the strap on, it was pretty well balanced. I was concerned about neck twisting, so I moved it to the location it is now (stock). The previous owner drilled the other hole in the body. It dives like crazy now, but with a padded leather strap and a small weight on the bottom, it'll stay up.
The worst part is, I shone a light in there to see how deep he went with the screw, and it nicked the truss. The truss is intact, but you can see where it scratched it.

Yeah you'll find the batwing headstocks on the Epiphone Embassy and (most) Gibson/Epiphone Newport basses. The Wilshire guitars have a batwing that looks even more like yours cause it's thinner at the tip.
Well this is the company i got mine from and the bass itself but i got mine cheaper from their ebay shop. tbh i am really surprised how good it is for something so low cost.

Hello from Texas, I just joined a few days ago and I figure I should show my stuff.
First is my main bass, this one I built and is actually my first attempt, Sapele body, the neck I got from Warmoth is Paduk/Ebony
My other two are just a couple of Fenders I've picked up.
