I currently have a bass stable of 4!

Fender Marcus Miller - Fender MiM Precision - Washburn Taurus T-24 - Epiphone EB3

I'm currently toying with the idea of flogging all but the MM Jazz, and buying either an American Standard Precision, or a Lakland 44-02 or something. Anyone fancy talking me in/out of this?

your MIM Precision is not going to be that much of a step below a MIA P Bass. I mean I presume the P Bass is layin down the thump just fine..

You can always trade up the Taurus and Epi for something different to your lineup
Its great to have both a P and a J in your stable
maybe something more active and modern?
Warwick,Spector,EBMM,SBMM etc,....

Yeah thats what i was thinking about last night. I don't really want to get rid of the MiM, so what i'm probably going to do, is sell both the Epi & the Washburn, to fund either a) Upgrades for the MiM (it needs a new bridge) or b)Another bass.

I like Warwicks, Spectors, EBMM, Lakland etc, but i dont think my budget would stretch that far, however, i might be able to get another MiM secondhand, or possibly a 50s Precision or something :) Will depend on what comes up used!

Here's my bass, a Groovin GWB 520. It's known as "The Chinese Flyer", because it was once tossed 16ft away (such an unfortunate event)...and came back almost unscathed. It sucks, but I love it:

Sorry 'bout the bad pics, all I have is my phone's camera.

The bass may be a beater - the pics may be a bit fuzzy, but like that you were able to come in here and enthusiastically "show and tell" about your bass. Rock on my brother!

Just FYI, I have attempted to post the photo 4 times from two different photo services and nothing seems to be working. I'm going to quit before I put my fist through my laptop.

So I have one Guitar hanger on my living room wall and just to help with future arranging, I hung all of my guys from the one hanger and cut and pasted this montage.

Been having the BTB for a couple of years. First bass I've ever had (Converted over from 15+ years on and off of guitar). Got the Warbeast because I needed a 4 string for some metal playing and wanted something lighter (and wanted something mean looking). I like it, but I can feel the difference in quality when compared to my BTB. I've grown even more fond of the BTB after playing the Rich.
