Love how these Hayman's look. The appliance bit is what really gives it that "archaic something" that many other basses are missing.

What is the weight on one of those things?

Thanks. They do look cool. Some people think Wals looks like them, in the headstock and body shape.
They are not light - around 10 lbs. I think the body is made of Obeche.

I don't have clips, but they have a wide range of tones. Some people have compared the bridge PU tone to Rickenbacker, the neck PU to a Precision.

My Washburn Taurus polished up a treat! I knew some sort of wood was hiding under the foggy satin finish.

I don't know why they do satin finishes. I know it is meant to be modern and all but I don't think it does the instruments justice. I also swapped out the stock pickups with Wilkinson jazz pickups and added a Precision bridge cover. I've since changed the knobs and the thing has tasty groundwound strings on it 80% of the time.

Much modded Bronco. I did the artwork myself with acrylics.

I dig em, D. Sadly, the screws that hold them on (Made for split shaft, the P is solid.. or vice versa, whatever. ) so they just kinda spin freely right now. I need to figure that out.

I got em from a fellow TBer as a gift, so thats even cooler.

There's a 2001 50th Anniversary of the Precision. Nice combination of good looks and tone.
Butterscotch finish, black anno pickguard, vintage tinted maple neck. Came with a tweed case and certificate.
Supposedly only 400 were made, but I've never seen proof. Got it from Funkycarnivore years ago. Thanks, Jerome!

Nice Taurus! I sold mine last night... but it was worth it, as now i can pay for my Lakland!
