They make a good first bass.

It is I'm really pleased with it. It feels awesome, and the setup was perfect for me straight from the box. Low action, no buzz, no sharp fret edges. And the finish on the neck feels divine.

I'm even more impressed with the tone, sounds like a p bass should!

I forgot to mention the colour - in all the online pics it just looks like your standard off-white, but in person it's a lovely yellowy cream, really vintage looking. Mmmmm
