oh yea....forgot this one... I went back to 4 string for a little while... gosh i miss this bass...These Sterling by MM SB1's are insane basses on the cheap...used market is the way to go on these.. I've seen em got for as low as $350....insane basses on the cheap, if you play 4 string, and need somethin snappy and punchy...I put the red pearl guard on it, because the white one was butt ugly.

Nice choice, pickguard goes great with that color.

James , I only play 4 string jazzes but that middle bass kills!!! Wow , they look great especially that one. Ive never seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing. Bet it sounds great .

Here are the two I play. A fretted 1993 Modulus Quantum 6 and an early MTD Kingston Artist 5-string fretless. The Modulus has Barts with a 3-band NTMB preamp. The MTD is stock except for removal of the ghastly pickguard (screw holes covered with disks of black electrical tape cut using an office paper punch) and a super high-tech magic marker blacking out of the truss rod access.
