Here's the latest family photo. The two Squier Jazz's are recently acquiered and even though I bought them, one is moving on to a friend's daughter and the other is on the block for sale - but for now they are part of MY family - so I figured I'd take advantage. I scored them both off of CL for GREAT prices and I cleaned and tweaked 'em both. Good as new - better, if you consider what you get new from GC good...

Let me guess. It's a harlequin bass?

Not really suure what that means? haha

Hmmmm... well, in the pic below this guy on the left is a harlequin. A kind of renaissance Italian joker. The patchy colored outfit is the characteristic that has been used to market other items with a multi-colored design. For instance, you may have seen the harlequin model of the VW Golf.

I have a couple of clunkers around, but here are the fun basses- 1978 Pedulla Fretted
1982 Pedulla Buzz

Fodera Monarch New Standard 4 string
RBass Singlecut 5 string fretted and modded with EMG Pickups and Custom Mike Pope Pre.

I am a contributing member and the Rbass is currently for sale.

SKB 3005J Standard Plus (with mods). This thing is just sick...Burled redwood on mahogany, bird's eye maple....

This hot little honey is my LG3005 fretless. I ordered the jazz to match this one - interestingly (or not) the top wood on the jazz was choice #2 for this one) Burled redwood on maple/wenge/maple/mahogany, diamondwood fingerboard. The fretlines were made with the dust from the redwood top mixed in....

and finally, the one that started it all. My loved LG3006. Quilted/spalted maple on ash. Pau Ferro board.
