Well i wanted to increase the value of my bass. This bass was only worth $10.00 and now its worth $10.93 thanks to the 93 pennys

This ones called the "P.O.S" custom made with kids toy drum machine, keyboard, cell phone and mega phone. Flashing police lights and tonka toy sound effects.

Here is a custom super bass called " The Cable Guy". Might be hard to tell from the photo. But its a pine board with 12 feet of aircraft cable strung with bass tuners and a pickup.

Here is the tuners, you can still see broken glass from my last show with it. I had it leaning against a wall next to a window.
The show was busted by the cops, and i didn't see them my back was turned. They thought i was refusing to stop playing, so they tackled me and in the chaos " The Cable Guy" went threw the window....hah hah .....

This is not really a bass but thought it would be fun to show...Its called " Traffic" its 13 car horns mounted to a frame, 4 horns are mounted to a lazy susan bearing and they spin around with a vacuum cleaner motor. It makes alot...i mean alot of noise. Needs a car battery and wall outlet to run....i had to use three switches in banks because it pulls so much current.

awesome man...yah and plus i had about 50 circuit bent kids toys looping at the show....all running on batterys...After about twenty minutes the cops couldn't firgure out how to turn all the noise off, so they let me go if i promised to turn everything off...as i was turning everthing off, everyone was screaming with joy and claping and they carried me out on their shoulders like a football star.

It actually plays pretty good. The MM and J style pickups give a lot of interesting character. Its got a lot of nice Jaco sounding treble and high mids, really a good bass for funk. The bass is a bit higher in freq and doesn't boom as much as I wish it would, but it does quite a bit of stuff if you know your way around with fingerstyle. Oh, and a LOT of presence... Slapping sounds so beast on this thing! :). The one thing I love SO much about this bass is the NECK. Its got a really tight compound radius, and somehow... don't ask me how... it feels thinner and faster than a J bass neck :eyebrow: No idea why it feels that good. And the bass weighs about 7 lbs all together?

As soon as I get my 4x10 re-coned... Some dummy with an active bass put a smiley face on the EQ... (maxed the lows and highs and totally scooped the mids, not like a subtle little grin on the EQ...) and boosted bass and treble all the way up on his bass when he used my rig live before I had to go on... Totally raped my poor 5 year old 4x10's cones... But it sounds really nice... Buttery low mids with a lot of precise high mids... lots of crystal clear presence that sounds REALLY good with a chorus pedal in the loop, and a nice tight low end... Not a terribly powerful low end, but I think if you replaced the jazz pickup to something a bit hotter it would have a better response. AND to boot, I replaced my preamp tube in the DE300 I'm using live with a Sovtek AX7. That amp sounds MEAN when you start bringing up the gain!! :)

Interesting ;) Thanks for the info! ;)

Btw, the Luna instruments were designed so that a person with small hands who doesn't like to carry a heavy bass around would feel comfortable playing their guitars / basses - that's why it's so light and the neck feels thinner than the norm ;)

I wish all these smaller brands would invest more in promoting their stuff (demo videos and all). They chase away their potential buyers because it's almost impossible to find a good video that presents all the features and capability of their instrument :scowl: .
