I've been craving to try one of those out for a while. Is it difficult to move from being a guitar/bass player to one of those things? How about the tunning in fifths?

New (to me) Hondo 830 Deluxe. I was told originally that it is a '72, but that has been questioned by some people, so I'm not too sure. All I know is it is a great player and looks amazing.

I really don't know, I've read mahogany, but I don't know for sure. There is little to be found about Hondo on the interwebs.

You are right the more I look at it the wood might be Macassar or Indian rosewood.
