My best work......

My $160 GC find...sat on the wall in GC for three years with an unadjusted neck. Got it for a song. Fixed the bow, put on some flats, and its a killer funk machine....

and I just got a Sterling SB14 in Black, but I used to have a red one that I really miss......amazing what a pick guard change will do

I have a 1960s Pre-ventures Mosrite Bass Link Removed

I don't think those tuners would have appeared on a pre-Ventures Mosrite. I think you have a post-Ventures Mosrite, probably still 60's era.

It looks like it may have had some modifications also. The knobs don't look original and the 2 output jacks are very unusual.

Looking at the picture for a 3rd time I think you might have a Mosrite neck, pickups, bridge and tailpiece installed on a custom body.

But regardless of the pedigree, if it plays and sounds good enjoy it!

Here are all of my basses, except three.

Why three Lakland 55's? Well, one flatwound and one fretless (Skyline) and one roundwound (US), that's why. They have different purposes.
Then my '78 P-bass, my Matt Pulcinella Level 6 and - on the floor - my un-bass, my old Telecaster Deluxe I bought second hand back in '77.

The ones missing are: my '78 Jazz (under some surgery...), my Tacoma Thunderchief and my NS Design CR4M electric upright.

My number one is my old '78 J, the bass to bring to a deserted island. My favourite at the moment is the fretless 55-02...

Hey guys! Here's my current setup:

2006 Fender Jag, newly acquired Aria Pro II or some sort, and an early 2000s Ashdown Mag 300 2x10 combo.

All that's missing is my old OLP Stingray which was de-fretted a few years ago. It's currently on loan to a friend but now that I'm thinking about it I suddenly have a strong urge to get it back asap :D

A group photo of the only instruments I ever need.

Ibanez SR506 (tuned in standard)
Stambaugh fanned fret 6 (tuned in 5ths, A-G#)
Eastwood Warren Ellis tenor guitar

That shot does nothing to endear my Stambaugh. This will help:
