Custom job coming along nicely.......

The phrases that were thrown around were - Mark Ryden, strange, crazy, acid trip, and things that might give small children nightmares ( freaky looking smiles with big teeth etc )

Not usually my cup of tea but very cool, and a very good use for a "vintage" bass, am I right in identifying the brand? I used to have a "vintage" jazz bass which served me well and got me into 4 string jazz basses but I sold it to fund my first fender and never looked back

Yeah it's an EST96, going to set it up as low as I can. Action was always so high on it, but it's a backup backup bass, never got played much!
It'll be great eye candy even if it doesn't get gigged, it'll still be on stage ;)

He is out there, for the next custom job I have something different in mind aswell :)

Thanks for the compliments, I was going o paint it myself, but didn't have the time, so handed it over. She went kind of mad on it :D

Yamaha BB605 5 string, bartolini MM pickup between stock single coils, ramp over these, passive VVVT 3 way switch wiring.:cool:

Hello there, here are 2 pics of my hand made headless bass, it is a neck-trough 5 piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard, 2 truss rods. Walnut body with quilted maple inlay, active/passive volume, bartolini pickups and electronics, sounds awsome....your opinion?
