Well for comparison I find that HW1 Bodys are slightly downsized.

Here is from warmoth's site about the change between the Dinky J and the J body. The upper fret access is greatly improved for my big hands. I can reach the 22nd on the E string with little issue. Prior to the rebuild I could not reach the 22nd on any string. The contoured heel helps as well, but probably not as much as the lower horn reshape.

Its not as dramatic as you would think. I suppose its no different than a Fender Jazz compared to a Sadowsky. Hence me wanting to call my bass a Fendowsky Arctic Geddy. :)

Very close. For reference, I actually copied a bass of Adrian Garcia's white nordy that he calls Purity for my concept. I just am not a 5 string player and wanted single coil J's rather than humbucking bigger sized pickups. I guess it does look like a geddy, although tone wise it is a Geddy killer. All the same bite in the right way, but more growl, more lows, more sizzle. It in no way shape or form mimics a Marcus, but comes close.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. Here's my yamaha rbx170 with my ampeg ba-115 in the background (along with a dan electro daddy-o and old computer boxes.) I'm saving up some money to get a fender or hopefully lakland.

I've seen this picture on Warmoth's site. But I was wondering how they look next to each other in real life. So you think it's more like comparing a Fender and a Sadowsky? That would make more sense to me. I have a hard time envisioning that picture on a real body.

This is my weekend craigslist acquisition :hyper:. A 71 Pbass. I immediately replaced the pickguard and put some LaBella flats on.
I had a towel with a little water and wiped down the front a little and it just smeared the grime - probably should have left it alone.
